Goodfellow acknowledges passing of Dame Thea Muldoon
National Party President Peter Goodfellow has today
acknowledged the contribution of Dame Thea Muldoon to the
National Party and expressed sadness at her passing.
“While best known for supporting her husband and
long-serving Prime Minister Sir Robert Muldoon, Dame Thea
was a stalwart of the party who made an outstanding
contribution in her own right,” said Mr Goodfellow.
“I know all in our party who have worked with Dame
Thea over many years will today be saddened by the news of
her passing.
“On behalf of the party, our caucus,
and those who have served with Dame Thea in years gone by, I
express my heartfelt condolences to the Muldoon family. Our
thoughts are with them.”
