We Will Fight Harder in 2017 – Steven
Joyce
The National Party’s campaign
manager Steven Joyce told TV One’s Q+A programme he has
not experienced a loss in 10 years after a disastrous result
last night in the Northland by-election.
“You
learn a lot from your losses as well as your wins,” says
Mr Joyce.
“I actually thought Winston would
struggle a bit more than he did. But for a range of reasons,
he did well,” he says.
“We will actually fight
harder in 2017. I think, in a funny way, it is not what we
would have chosen, but we will make it helpful to us in
terms of actually getting better results”.
