Bunnings have put forward what we believe to be an industry leading proposal.

Bunnings’ offer will guarantee a minimum hourly pay rate of $17.50, this means that team members will receive an absolute minimum increase of 4% this year with a further guaranteed minimum of 2% to be paid next year.

Bunnings stores are generally open 7 days a week with trading hours that start at 7am and on the whole run through to 7pm, so flexibility for our team to be there for our customers is key.

Bunnings actively supports the right for team members to choose the Employment Agreement that best works for them, be it an Individual Employment Agreement or a Collective Agreement where they receive Union representation, all of which have regular fixed hours.

Bunnings is committed to supporting the needs of our valued team and providing a healthy work/life balance. Bunnings can confirm that it will not make wholesale changes to our teams’ roster patterns, however some changes may occur when required. Any and all changes will take place in full consultation with the team member, with at least 4 weeks advance notice given, so that any significant commitments, such as family responsibilities, can be raised and taken into account. Team members normally receive notice of their proposed rosters six weeks in advance.
