Re: NZ Indian Central Association Inc. support for Race Relations Commissioner
New Zealand Indian Central Association Incorporated is an oldest Apex body of Indians in New Zealand which has worked relentlessly for the last 90 years in fighting against the discriminations.
Whenever we have approached the Race Relations Office the Commissioner has responded quickly and followed up with actions.
“Race Relations Commissioner came out strongly against the Wellington DJ when we approached the Race Relations Office”.
“This month when many Kiwis supported advertisements that said ‘No Indians’: Dame Susan came out and rightly condemned this practice as wrong.”
New Zealand Indian Central Association started with three branches in 1926 has grown up and today it has ten full branches, one associate branch, five associate members and one probationary associate member representing the whole of Indian Diaspora in New Zealand.
We are pleased with performance of Dame Susan Devoy as Race Relations Commissioner. “Dame Susan Devoy supports the Ethnic Communities and our human rights. We appreciate this support greatly.”
