Pacific Quota Ballot Today

The Immigration New Zealand Samoa and Pacific Access Category quotas are being drawn by ballot today.

1,100 places are available under the Samoan Quota for Samoan nationals. Another 650 places are available under the Pacific Access Category for nationals from Tonga (250), Fiji (250), Tuvalu (75) and Kiribati (75).

Immigration New Zealand (INZ) Assistant General Manager Geoff Scott says around 22,000 registration applications were received this year under the Samoan and Pacific Access Category quotas.

INZ will only contact those who are successful in the ballot draws and only successful numbers will be listed.

The ballot results will be announced on 17 June 2016.
