Monday 5 September - "On behalf of Greenpeace New Zealand, I’d like to congratulate Kevin Hague on his appointment as the new head of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society,” says Stephanie Mills, Chair of the Board of Greenpeace New Zealand.
“Forest and Bird is an important voice for the environment in New Zealand and Kevin is an excellent choice.
“I would also like to acknowledge all the work of outgoing CEO Hone McGregor.
“You only need to look at Forest and Bird’s Court of Appeal win against the polluting Ruataniwha Dam last week to see that Forest and Bird is an organisation that's very relevant to our most pressing environmental issues.
“We look forward to working with Kevin and his team in years to come to safeguard New Zealand’s land, water and biodiversity".
