Voting update - the clock’s ticking!

Time’s running out

There’s less than 24 hours until voting closes in the Auckland local body elections.

But if you’ve left it to the last minute, voters still have time to have their say.

If you want to vote but are not sure whether your are on the electoral roll or know you are not on the electoral roll, you will need to:
· visit your local PostShop by 4pm today (Friday) to either check your status or enrol;

· once you are on the roll, take yourself to the closest council service centre near where you live, or one of the five libraries around the region (exact locations listed below) and collect your special voting paper;

· make your choice and drop your papers by midday Saturday into one of the ballot boxes provided at:

any one of 55 libraries

9 service centres

7 giant heart-on-a-stick ballot boxes at the Orewa, Takapuna, New Lynn, Manukau, Pakuranga, Pukekohe libraries and on lower Queen St, outside Britomart Station
