Dan Rosewarne selected as Labour’s candidate in Waimakariri

NZ Army soldier Dan Rosewarne selected as Labour’s 2017 candidate in the Waimakariri electorate

NZ Army Staff Sergeant and two time Afghanistan veteran Dan Rosewarne has been selected as the Waimakariri Labour Party candidate in the 2017 General Election.

“It is an honour to serve in the New Zealand Defence Force and I am also honoured to be Labour’s Waimakariri candidate for the 2017 election.”

“Waimakariri is made up of many strong communities and I will be using all of my experience make sure these voices are heard loud and clear in Parliament,” said Dan Rosewarne.

Labour General Secretary, Andrew Kirton, said: “Dan joins our growing list of energetic and fresh candidates who will stand for Labour in 2017. Our focus is on electing a strong, Labour-led government next year that will rise to the challenge, back the Kiwi Dream and build a better New Zealand.”
