New Zealanders back Jacinda at the UN with Love Trumps Hate

New Zealand design company Eightyone has today launched a ‘Love Trumps Hate’ campaign in support of Prime Minister Jacinda Arden’s call for the return of humanity, decency and global politics during her trip to New York.

The Love Trumps Hate campaign is backed with a newly designed typeface ‘TrumpFace’, which is used on t-shirts gifted to Eightyone’s friends and staff members.

Available for free download on their website, TrumpFace reflects a New Zealand perspective on America under President Donald Trump.

The colourful headline font uses each letter to illustrate divisive politics and issues in America, such as Abortion, Black lives matter and Climate change.

Eightyone Spokesperson Matt West said the typeface was a collaborative design effort to share with the world how the reputation of America is being affected by the Trump presidency.

“We were moved to design this typeface when we realised how deeply even our distant and humble country had been affected by divisive Trump phenomenon.”

“Trump Face draws inspiration from these issues and traits that many of our fellow citizens now associate with America.

“We support Jacinda’s call for equality and justice in global politics,” West said.
