Taxpayers’ Union responds to scrapping of ‘chief technology officer’ role

18 DECEMBER 2018


Responding to the Government’s announcement that it will scrap the specific Chief Technology Officer role, New Zealand Taxpayers’ Union spokesman Louis Houlbrooke says:

“Instead of replacing one expensive advisor with a committee, the Government should simply scrap the entire initiative, which has always been an exercise of expensive vanity.”
