Support and help needed - Kia Ora Gaza aid mission

Support and help needed - Kia Ora Gaza aid mission

In the wake of the Arab Spring surge for democracy, and the Palestinian bid for UN statehood, a team of four Kiwis is preparing to join an international aid convoy to break the illegal siege of Gaza.

Kia Ora Gaza is sending the four volunteers on the historic Viva Palestina 6 aid mission to Gaza this December. The convoy will link up with the Egyptian uprising to open the southern Gaza border crossing and permanently break Israel’s cruel blockade on 1.5 million imprisoned Palestinians.

Two of the team, Roger Fowler and his son Hone, took part in last year’s siege-busting Viva Palestina 5 convoy of 150 vehicles, which delivered NZ$7 million of medical supplies to Gaza soon after Israel’s murderous attack on the Mavi Marmara aid ship. Kia Ora Gaza has launched a Gaza Appeal for $50,000 to cover our portion of convoy aid and to get our team to the other side of the world. We urgently need your help and support.
