New Zealand has betrayed its proud history as a good
place to bring up chidlden. We should hang our collective
heads in shame at our poor record for child health.
Too
many children are living in quite unacceptable conditions,
hospitalised in high numbers for diseases which have largely
disappeared from OECD.
This is not a party issue; as the
documentary said it is a moral and ethical issue. It is a
question of whether there is the will to invest in children
and their future.
