Experts are blaming the homicides on post earthquake stress.

What a lot of poppycock!

"You can't make an excuse for anyone taking another human life" - Superintendent Gary Knowles. And SST agree with him.

People have to be held responsible for their actions! How so called "experts" can suggest that the killings are to be blamed on post earthquake stress is so very wrong!

We have had 5 homicides in Christchurch since August 22nd (Hayden Miles) and the latest one January 8th (Ken Moore) it is a sad day in society when PC rubbish blames stress on these terrible homicides.

It’s a simple deal. We pay taxes in order to finance the social services we want and need. The carnage now occurring across the public sector though, is breaking that contract. Over 3,000 jobs have been lost so far. Many are in crucial areas like Education where the impact of losing support staff is either going to fall back on teachers, or result in crucial things being done poorly by the overworked survivors at the Ministry. The cuts are being enacted without the coalition government having a clue (or visible concern) about what the impact will be. The prior promise to go through this stuff “ line by line” has gone out the window.
