We're live from the banks of
the Avon River in Christchurch for this final programme of
2013.
Next year, the rebuild of Christchurch promises a
brighter economic future for us all but it's a rebuild born
out of frustration and a complex
recovery given the
number of parties involved - for many Cantabrians it's
difficult to know where to go for answers or simply a
decision.
Now, Christchurch has an opportunity to get the rebuild right. To build a city that's a draw-card, renowned for its innovation and forward thinking but will we get it right?
We talk to the Earthquake Recovery minister Gerry Brownlee, Christchurch’s mayor Lianne Dalziel, and Ngai Tahu chairman Sir Mark Solomon.
On the panel this week, political scientist Dr Raymond Miller from Auckland University, radio host and media personality Gary McCormick and Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce CEO Peter Townsend.
Join Susan Wood and Corin Dann on Sunday at 9am on TV ONE.
