Cyber Security Strategy and Action Plan Feedback

Cyber Security Strategy and Action Plan Feedback Form

Kia ora,

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Cyber Security Strategy refresh. We have held workshops on the possible vision, principles, and goals for a refreshed Cyber Security Strategy in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch - thank you to all those who attended.

The workshops formed part of the ‘understand’ phase of the Cyber Security Strategy refresh in which we explored:

• future challenges of cyber security

• opportunities to improve New Zealand’s cyber security

• Where we can make improvements to the current Strategy and Action Plan

On the Connect Smart website you can also find a summary from the public workshops, to give you an idea of what we’ve heard so far.

We are now moving into the ‘develop’ phase where we will use the key concepts from the workshops, meetings, and research from the ‘understand’ phase to prepare the framework for a draft strategy and action plan.

We will be engaging with Connect Smart partners and broader elements of the community to seek feedback on this framework and to develop possible initiatives throughout July and early August.

How can you contribute? If you weren’t able to make it to the workshops; would prefer to put something in writing; would like to help us prioritise the key concepts from the workshops; or would like to share more ideas with us: then please take 5-10minutes to record your views through the Cyber Security Strategy feedback form on the Connect Smart website.
