Infinity Solutions, a new brand in the IT services, software and business enablement field, will be launched tomorrow (Monday 4 December). Infinity Solutions represents the joining of Infinity Group companies Trilogy Business Systems, Madison Systems and Comtex Group.

Infinity Solutions, with over 430 staff nationwide, is one of New Zealand's largest IT outsourcing companies. It provides a comprehensive range of information technology, human resource and assets management services, designed to enable businesses to focus on their core functions. Services include business and IT consulting and project management, software development, training and support services and e-commerce development. Infinity Solutions also offers outsourcing of HR functions, from payroll to strategic HR, sales and support for a wide range of hardware products and asset and property management consulting. It has strong relationships with leading IT providers including IBM, Compaq, Microsoft, Rational, Novell and Software AG.

Murray McCaw, previously managing director of Comtex, is chief executive officer of Infinity Solutions. He says the new business, the largest in Infinity Group, will offer customers "best-of-breed" business solutions, through the combined strengths of the three consistently high performing companies and their world class business partners.

"Infinity Solutions is an example of the whole being even greater than the sum of the parts. We are looking forward to the opportunities Infinity Solutions will create for further growth and development for the whole group, as well as for Infinity Solutions itself."

Mr McCaw says Infinity Solutions intends to build on the capabilities of the three companies, which share substantial marketplace credibility and strong cashflows.

"Our commitment is to be the partner of choice for organisations who want to become more efficient, put more focus on their core business, and develop a more competitive edge," he says.

Infinity Solutions offers world class systems and applications, either customised or created from scratch to meet customers' requirements. Through its service offering to both established and growing businesses, Infinity Solutions aims to extend its existing base of around 1,000 clients, which encompasses a wide range of public and private sector organisations. "New Zealand spends more per capita on IT services and products than much larger countries. As Infinity Solutions we are going to harness the electronic intelligence available to take on this industry and deliver real value to our customers," says Mr McCaw.

"Our role is to provide, along with the best services, products and systems available, the energy, intellect and innovation that will enable businesses to achieve peak performance."

Within Infinity Group, Infinity Solutions will provide a financial base for new ventures and development potential for Infinity Group's Infinity Systems and Infinity Ventures arms. - ENDS -
