Hokitika workshop postponed
Wellington - 12 February 2001: The Royal Commission on Genetic Modification is postponing the workshop scheduled for tomorrow in Hokitka.
Due to the tangi this week of a prominent Ngai Tahu member, the workshop will now be held on Monday, 19 February 2001, 10:00am-12:00pm at Te Puni Kokiri Office, Mountain Jade Complex, corner of Sewell and Weld streets, Hokitika.
The Regional Hui will be held in Christchurch on 24 February 2001 at Te Waipounamu House between 9:15am and 5:00pm.

The Royal Commission on Genetic Modification was established by Order in Council on 8 May 2000 and is chaired by Sir Thomas Eichelbaum. The other members of the Commission are Dr Jacqueline Allan, Dr Jean Fleming and the Rt Rev Richard Randerson. The Commission is required to report by 1 June 2001.
