IBM and Peace Software to Jointly Implement
Advanced Customer Management Solutions

Auckland, New Zealand - May 4, 2001 - Peace Software today announced it will join with IBM Global Services to deliver large-scale and advanced technology solutions to utility and retail energy companies operating in regulated and deregulated markets. Founded in New Zealand, Peace Software is a global provider of leading customer management solutions for utility and retail energy companies. IBM’s utility and energy services consulting practice is part of IBM Global Services, the world’s largest information technology services provider.

Services will span the life cycle of an installation from rapid deployment through production site enhancement and maintenance. The web-based Energy suite enables utilities and retail energy companies to more effectively and profitably attract, serve and retain both mass market and commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.
