INTERNET LOTTERY GIVES CHANCE TO WIN $1,000,000

AUCKLAND, 13 November, 2001 – iLotto (www.ilotto.co.nz), a free to play kiwi internet lottery with a guaranteed daily prize of $ 1,000,000 dollars was officially launched today.

Clayton Scott, iLotto's Managing Director expects that ilotto’s daily lottery will become extremely popular because its game is unique and it is totally free to play. Indeed, iLotto has already proven very popular since it went live in September with more than 5,000 people having played without any advertising or marketing support.

The $1 million grand prize is insured by insurance and advertisers pay for each entry into the draw. The draw process is certified by Nik Nak Technology Limited an IT security specialist based in London to ensure that the numbers are totally random says Scott. iLotto has already paid out a few minor prizes but no one has yet to win the $1,000,000 prize says Scott.

Playing iLotto is very simple. Each player must select 6 numbers and then click on a small advertising banner to submit their numbers into the daily draw. In return for supporting the advertiser a player is given the opportunity to win $1,000,000. If a player does not match all 6 numbers they may however win runners up prizes of $500 or $25 for matching some numbers.

iLotto intends to run a nation wide marketing campaign to generate greater awareness of its game in the coming months.
