FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Recycle (recycle.net.nz) - New Zealand's largest free auction site today registered its 1000th member.

The figure comes approximately one year and three months after the site's launch in September 2000.

"Most of the growth has come by word of mouth and search engines." says site manager Toosharn Haszard, "along with a few favourable mentions in Netguide and PC world".

Recycle plans to acquire outside funding to accelerate future growth.
