Calcium Appoints Country Manager to Drive One to One eMarketing solution - mailPrimer - in New Zealand

- Following the successful launch of mailPrimer, an innovative 1-to-1 email marketing solution helping companies to maximise their return on investment in marketing and communications, Calcium Communication Software has appointed David Lynn as its Country Manager for New Zealand.

David will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing operations of Calcium and focusing on new business opportunities. According to David there are two primary challenges in his role.

"My goals are to manage the explosive growth Calcium is facing while simultaneously maintaining and extending the professional image and sound reputation Calcium has already earned. The volume of interest in mailPrimer is rapidly growing. While mailPrimer is newly launched, large and small organisations alike have been quick to appreciate both its extensive capabilities and inherent simplicity in solving their unique problems."

"David brings to Calcium a considerable depth of expertise and a high level of professionalism in managing a solution-based software business within a high-pressure and high-growth environment," says Gael de Kerdanet, CEO for Calcium.

"His extensive history in customer focussed positions and strong marketing and commercial acumen will drive Calcium's growth as well as ensure that Calcium's customers remain our priority."

David was previously with IBM New Zealand as its National iSeries Business Manager for Systems Sales. In this role he managed national sales, marketing activities and channel partnerships throughout NZ and the Pacific region. David fostered a co-operative business partner network, developed the business pipeline from inception, added new customers, and grew annuity sales.

He has also held roles with SolNet as Commercial Account Director, and with CSC New Zealand as Account Manager. Previously he established and headed the Australian subsidiary of Terranova Pacific Services and held project management roles at Health Waikato Limited.
