PeopleSoft Grows and Strengthens New Zealand Team

PeopleSoft today announced the appointment of two new account executives, Mark Raos and John Drayton, who each bring a wealth of industry experience to their new roles.

Mark Raos, based in Auckland, is focused on the healthcare and financial sectors in the New Zealand market place, as well as being responsible for key accounts such as Air New Zealand and Sky City.

Mark joins PeopleSoft from Gen-i, where he was most recently client director, managing key Auckland clients. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the IT industry and has a strong systems integration and outsourcing background, first with Wang New Zealand and then with Gen-i.

Mark sees great opportunities in New Zealand for PeopleSoft’s enterprise software applications. “PeopleSoft is a world leading organisation and I’m looking forward to helping customers realise significant business benefits from deploying PeopleSoft solutions to address critical business issues.”

Mark holds both a B.A. and a post-graduate diploma in Information Technology from the University of Auckland.

John Drayton, based in Wellington, is focused on the government and public sector, as well as managing key Wellington-based accounts such as New Zealand Post and New Zealand Police.

Most recently John ran his own financial services company and brings more than 12 years experience in the IT industry to his new role at PeopleSoft. He was with Computer Associates for five years, as account director and has also held roles at Equant and BellSouth (now Vodafone).

John says PeopleSoft has a strong reputation with customers and throughout the industry. “Clients I’ve talked to have high regard for PeopleSoft the company, and the people in the organisation. I think there are tremendous opportunities for PeopleSoft in Wellington.”
