New Zealand Winner At Worldskills Competition

West Auckland computer guru, Nathan Champion (20) has returned to New Zealand this week with a Medallion of Excellence for his work at the Worldskills competition held in Helsinki, Finland.

Over the four days of competition, Nathan’s skills were put to the test against the best computer tradespeople in the world. The Worldskills competition has been described as the Olympics for young tradespeople.

The event consisted of over 650 competitors from 40 countries. Each day the event centre received over 40,000 visitors to the stands.

Nathan says that he is pleased with his result and grateful for the support he received from Unitec New Zealand, Auldhouse Computer Training, Training Partners, MTR IT Recruitment and Southern Cross Travel Insurance.
