Telecom resolves Bubble registration fault
Telecom resolves Bubble registration fault and brings on additional staff to assist waiting customers
Telecom has resolved a fault with the Yahoo!Xtra Bubble registration process that had affected some customers' ability to access the service.
The technical fault identified on Monday night had meant some customers were unable to register for Yahoo!Xtra Bubble or access their webmail via the new service.
The resolution means that customers are now able to register for Bubble services including webmail - and large numbers of customers have been doing this successfully throughout today.
Chief Operating Officer, Consumer Kevin Kenrick says while the registration fault has been solved Telecom continues to assist remaining customers who have related issues with individual email settings.
Telecom has updated information online to assist customers who don't yet have full service through Yahoo!Xtra Bubble - these customers should visit www.xtra.co.nz/help
Due to ongoing high demand Telecom has also brought on additional people at call centres to assist any customers who are still not yet registered or are having any email issues.
"We apologise for any inconvenience these problems have caused to affected customers and thank those who have been waiting to register for their patience," Mr Kenrick says.
