The Smart Home of the future is finally here

The Smart Home of the future is finally here

It’s been imagined, and predicted, and talked about, for decades. The Smart Home: a science fiction dream, where the appliances and the electronics do all the thinking for you.

Finally, in 2011, the Smart Home has arrived.

Welcome to the LG Smart Home. Come inside and you’ll discover that you barely need to lift a finger. LG does the smart thinking for you. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy.

In the kitchen, the sleek new side-by-side LG fridge has a vacuum-sealed drawer that automatically keeps your fruit and vegetables fresher for longer. The time-saving microwave steams and chargrills. If you have a dinner party, the dishwasher will take 14 place settings at once – and despite doing all the hard work for you, it comes with a 10 year motor warranty.

Walk through to the laundry and watch the 6 motion wash technology that provides maximum washing performance and the gentlest care for your clothes.

Upstairs to the living room, a modernist chill out zone, where you just point and click the remote, and the LG Smart TV takes care of the rest.

In the study, you can stay in touch with the world cleverly and easily with the new LG 3D tablet and 3D mobile.

And finally, through to the media room. Put on a pair of lightweight battery-free 3D glasses and open up an interactive, immersive world of 3D TV, DVD and gaming.

Setting up a new home is no easy feat. Over the next 10 years you’re likely to move home just once or twice if you own but up to 12 times if you’re renting, in the same 10 years your heart will beat approximately 400 million times. Considering moving home is one of the most stressful life events you’ll encounter, that’s giving your heart a real workout.

LG want to take the stress out of your life by creating appliances with hearts that last, that’s why they have created LG's 10 Year Parts Warranty program on core technology of LG appliances. You’ll have the peace of mind to know that no matter what life brings you over the next 10 years your appliance will get through it. (Available on Selected Models).

The Smart Home is here. The door is open. Visit us at www.lg.com/nz.
