Hitting The Road for a Better NZ for EV-eryone

For Immediate Release
Hitting The Road for a Better NZ for EV-eryone.

Thousands of New Zealanders are on the road this holiday season.

A group of Electric Vehicle enthusiasts are leaving Auckland on Wednesday, December 30th and their first stop is the Northern Bass festival near Mangawhai.

They are a lot like everyone else on the move these holidays; they have snacks, sleeping bags, friends, their kids and onboard GPS so they don’t get lost. They are off to enjoy New Zealand’s breath-taking beauty, and to stop and visit family and friends along the way.

What’s special about this group? They have a message: They want New Zealander to think seriously about the many advantages of driving Electric Vehicles.

They will be brining that message, and their electric cars, to a town, city, beach or campground, near you.

The general public will be able to come and see the cars, talk to the owners and find out more about EV technology.

“We want to dispel myths, and show everyone in New Zealand that EV ownership makes sense. It is far more affordable and practical than most people think.” Says longtime EV enthusiast and owner Steve West. “There is a lot of misunderstanding about the cars, what they cost, and how cheap and easy they are to run and maintain, and we want to answer these questions so that more Kiwi families will take up EV ownership” He continues.
