Take over your friend’s phone to get instant attention

Taipei, Taiwan --- Rebel Apps Media announces the release of an exciting new app that allows users to ‘throw’ anything on their friends’ cell phone screens.

Unlike other messaging apps where your messages get put in the background, SpankD slaps your messages right on top of your friends’ screens making it impossible for them to use their phones again until they either reply or delete.

While this may seem intrusive, its implementation is a more playful and creative alternative to sending regular messages. In other messaging apps, messages get stored inside the app itself and need to be manually opened to be viewed. While this is generally convenient for the user, it often results in delayed communication. SpankD works differently by displaying messages outside of the app itself and instead on top of the OS.

These types of messages aren't designed to replace your other messaging apps, but instead to be used as an additional tool in conjunction with other messaging apps.

Why did we make this app?

We made this app to fill a need: Creativity and Impact.

Current traditional messaging apps like Whatsapp, KIK or even Snapchat don’t offer creative freedom or instant attention. Often we need to get an answer from our friends immediately but don’t want to call them. And more often than not, we want to send more playful and creative messages. Surprisingly, there is currently nothing on the app stores that offers this.

“Most of my communication with my friends are inside jokes, so being able to use any image from the web is essential for making those perfect pictures. Then slapping it over their screen and having them edit it and send it back is so funny”.

Friend been bad? Egg them. “I’ve always had a mischievous side, so when I want to prank my friends, I send them an egg that splats on their phone. Sometimes I will

send an egg to my girlfriend if she is ignoring me or playing Candy Crush for too long. The egg feature is a fun way to get my friends’ attention.”

Want to flirt? Kiss their screen.

“I told her that I’d kiss her later and gave her a sly smile. Later, I covered her screen with kiss marks. She replied saying, ‘I thought you meant in real life!’ This was priceless.”

Feeling cheeky? Embarrass them with a loud fart sound. “I knew my friend was up in front of a group of grade two children, so I sent him a fart. What happened? After the fart sound came ringing out of his phone, the class erupted in laughter! My friend wasn’t laughing though. Ha ha ha!”

Need a reply? Send a Word Bomb.
