New Technology Delivers For The Unique Needs Of Those With Hearing Loss

The thousands of New Zealanders with hearing loss and their hearing care professionals have the chance to experience something completely different this month.

“Our hearing and experience of sound is as unique as a fingerprint. People with hearing loss now have access to an advanced new hearing solution that delivers a personalisd sound experience,” says Karen Pullar, General Manager, Oticon New Zealand.

Oticon is one of the world’s leading hearing manufacturers and has just launched the new Oticon Alta hearing device in New Zealand.

“People with hearing loss, like most people, prefer different quality and types of sound. They don’t just want the sound louder,” says Karen Pullar. “The Oticon Alta introduces a new and better way of unlocking a person’s hearing potential.”

Alta’s advanced technology means hearing care professionals can deliver a sound experience that is as unique and individual as each patient, addressing factors like how their ears work, how they process information, sound preferences and experiences.

A powerful new signal processing platform makes it possible for Alta to support a wide range of personalisation possibilities, delivering enhanced speech understanding, improved sound quality and effortless listening,

The Oticon Alta is small and discreet in size and enables the exchange of vital sound information between both ears for a more natural, authentic sound experience.
