Empowering young women through Martial Arts

Dynamic Marital Arts Press Release:

Empowering young women through Martial Arts

After the huge success of Fight Girls HBC, Dynamic Martial Arts is doing it again but this time with the next generation - Fight Chicks 2013.

“During Fight Girls we had a lot of requests from younger girls who were interested in following in the footsteps of the Fight Girls” says head coach Dave Sawyer. “Empowering young women naturally leads to Dynamic Martial Arts supporting two worthy charities, Youthline and Chariot Trust”

Dynamic Martial Arts are bringing this amazing experience to the younger generation in a slightly different format, however it will be still 12 weeks of training for girls with no experience. Those selected will end up fighting on a Charity Fight night in Orewa on the 21st September.

“This time the girls will not only have experienced coaches/instructors, a few of our Fight Girls returning to help out as mentors” says Sawyer who will also oversee both teams.

If you are going to be 13 – 17 years old on the 21st September, can commit to 3 days a week trainings of 1 hour each time, then head over to www.fightchicks .co.nz, read the FAQ and sign up.

Only those who are registered will be able to trial. We require a parent or guardian to be present during trials.

This time we are running this in TWO area’s - Henderson, West Auckland and Silverdale, Hibiscus Coast.

Registrations close. Friday 28th June

Trials for Silverdale, Sunday 30th June 5p

Trials for Henderson, Monday 1st August 6.30pm
