2. (SBU) Emboff delivered reftel points regarding Iran's
non-compliance with UNSCR 1737 February 28 to Carlos
Hernandez, acting director of the MFA's Office of
International Security, Nuclear, and Space Affairs.
Hernandez stressed that Argentina and the U.S. "are on the
same page as regards Iran and the IAEA," and said that
Argentina will continue to support diplomatic efforts to
press Iran to cooperate fully with the IAEA and abandon its
pursuit of nuclear weapons.
