(SBU) On March 9, Embassy Ottawa discussed the March 16 ICI
meeting with Douglas Williams, Director General, Middle East
and Maghreb, Canadian International Development Agency
(CIDA). He said that he would represent Canada along with
Gordon Venner, Director General, Middle East and North
Africa, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade
(DFAIT). Williams was fully aware of the expectations for
the meeting.
