1. (SBU) DCM delivered reftel points and proposals on March
22 to Sharifa Amalina Murad, Assistant Director of the ASEAN
Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT).
Sharifa welcomed receiving the proposals in advance but had
no initial comment.

2. (SBU) Sharifa and MOFAT Deputy Permanent Secretary Datin
Masrainah will travel Helsinki for the ARF Inter-sessional
Support Group meeting. Sharifa was previously posted to the
Brunei mission to the EU and joined the Brunei delegation to
Germany for the EU-ASEAN meeting March 14-15.
