This cable confirms delivery of the non-paper to GOC
designating Iran's Defense Industries Organization under E.O.
13382 (reftel). The non-paper was delivered to the Colombian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to Colombia's financial
intelligence unit, Unidad de Investigacion y Analysis
Financiera (UIAF), on March 30, following public announcement
in the U.S. The GOC had no immediate response to the
designation.
