Poloff delivered reftel demarche April 13 to Ruben Vidaurre,
the MFA's Director of Multilateral Affairs. Vidaurre
responded that the Embassy of Egypt had extended an
invitation for the MFA to participate in the formal signing
of the International Compact with Iraq, but the GOB had
decided not to send any delegates.
