1. PolEconOff delivered reftel points July 31 to Liga Rozeniece,
Head of the MFA's International Organizations Division, and urged
the GOL to look favorably on Steve Carr's candidacy for the Standing
Commission of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
Rozeniece responded that the GOL has not yet decided whom it will
support. She promised to contact Post with a more detailed response
as information becomes available.
