1. The following is the latest information from GOCR Foreign
Ministry Officials regarding the Costa Rica delegation to the
UNGA this fall. Exact details are not yet known but it is
expected that both officials will attend the inauguration and
at least one of them will attend the General Debate.

2. The Head of State will attend:
Oscar Arias Sanchez, President of the Republic of Costa
Rica

The President is divorced. Therefore, there will be no
spouse attendance to the Event on Literacy and Health hosted
by Mrs. Bush on September 24.

3. The Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend:
