1. This is an action request. Please see paragraph 3.

2. Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act,
Post requests the Department's assistance in screening the
following candidate of the Japan Self Defense Forces who has
been nominated for training in the United States. Post has no
derogatory information.
