Econchief met with UAE MFA International Organizations
Director Yacoub Al-Hosani on October 28. Econchief informed
Al-Hosani of the U.S. candidacy for re-election to the IMO
Council in "Category A" and sought support for the U.S
candidacy. Econchief also left information as an aide
memoire for Al-Hosani. Al-Hosani took the information on
board, but did not make any specific commitments.
