Ambassador delivered reftel demarches to Foreign Minister
Moctar Ouane on October 26. Embassy subsequently followed up
with Ambassador Oumar Daou, Director of Political Affairs for
the Malian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on October 30 and
again on 31. Ambassador Daou said on October 31 that Mali
would vote in favor of the resolution and in support of Mr.
Walker's candidacy.
