Per reftel, EconOff delivered the FY08 MCC scorecards and
points November 1 to Andre Escobar Arango, Deputy Director of
the National Planning Department. Escobar welcomed the
information and noted that Colombia's continued improvement
in the indicators reflected the GOC's strong commitment to
reducing the poverty rate from 56 percent in 2002 to 35
percent by 2010. Escobar said his office would look forward
to publication of the indicators on the Internet in the near
future.
