1. In the absence of Director General for International
Organizations Ambassador Adolphe Nahayo, Poloff called on
Director General for the Americas and Europe in the Ministry
of External Relations Ambassador Egide Ndikuriyo to deliver
reftel demarche on November 26. Ambassador Ndikuriyo told
Poloff that he needs to consult with his ministry before
making a decision on the three reftel UNGA resolutions and
suggested Poloff contact him before November 30 for a more
precise response.
