1. (U) Poloff delivered reftel demarche to MEA Director
(United Nations Political) Aveg Agarwal on November 26,
urging the GOI to vote no or at a minimum abstain in voting
to continue the mandate for the three UN Committees named
in reftel. Agarwal affirmed that he will consult within
the Ministry and get back to us. Post will continue to
follow up.
