(U) Vanja Radonjic Rakic, of Serbia's MFA United Nations
Directorate, told poloff, December 12, that Serbia plans to abstain
during the December 17 vote on the Special Committee to Investigate
Israeli Practices. Rakic also said that Serbia abstained during the
December 10 vote on the resolution for the Committee on the Exercise
of Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People as well as the
Division for Palestinian Rights within the UN Secretariat.
