SUBJECT: LEAHY VETTING REQUEST: MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OFFICERS

1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements,
this cable forwards the names of five Ministry of Defense officers
selected to attend training in the United States. Post possesses no
derogatory information on these individuals. Post requests the
Department's review of these candidates by January 31, 2008.
