1. (SBU) Based on review of passport pages provided to post by a
Western Mission, Post has determined the following international
travels for Alliance for the Reliberation of Somalia (ARS) Chairman
Sheikh Sharif Ahmed from March to November 2007. Sharif traveled on
Somali passport number A001277145; date of issue March 8, 2007; date
of expiration March 7, 2010; place of issue Sana'a, Yemen. His name
appears in the passport as Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

2. (SBU) - Yemen: Entry date unknown, exited on March 31.
- Doha: Entered March 31, exited April 4.
- Asmara: Entered April 4, exited June 6.
- Doha: Entered June 6, exited June 24.
- Asmara: Entered June 24, exited November 18.
- Unaccounted for: November 18 to November 22. (Possibly Yemen,
post could not determine some of the Arabic language handwritten
notes on the visas.)
- Djibouti: Entered November 22, exited November 25.
- Asmara: Entered November 26, length of stay unknown.
