1. This is an action request - see paragraph 2.

2. In order to comply with Leahy human rights vetting requirements,
this cable forwards the names of seven (7) Afghan nationals selected
to serve in the Presidential Protective Service (PPS) on the
protective detail of Director Rahmatullah Nabil. Post possesses no
derogatory information on these individuals. Post requests
Department's review of these candidates by May 16, 2008.
