Econoff contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade
regarding their support for the WIPO Director General election. New
Zealand responded that they are supporting the Australian candidate,
Dr Francis Gurry, for Director General of WIPO. Japan is also very
highly ranked in their list of preferred candidates.
