1. Director Stephen M. Young requests approval to be absent
from AIT on annual leave Thursday, May 22 through Monday,
June 2, and on consultations in Washington, D.C. June 3-9.
He will depart Washington on June 10 and return to Taipei on
Wednesday, June 11 at 1730.

2. Deputy Director Robert S. Wang will be Acting Director
during this period.
