For the May 21 Day of Solidarity with the Cuban People,
Embassy Guatemala will place an op-ed in the major Guatemalan
daily "Prensa Libre". As a follow-up, the Political and
Economic Counselor, drawing on his experience as PAO in
Havana, will host a press roundtable to discuss the current
conditions in Cuba, the efforts of Cuban dissidents, and the
realities faced by political prisoners. He will also appear
on a local radio talk show to discuss these issues. Summary
