Capt. Aigars Krastins, Director of the Transportation Ministry's
Maritime Department, on May 29. Krastins stated that he could not
say immediately if Latvia would participate in the Global Maritime
Partnership initiative, but that his ministry would contact us once
they have fully reviewed the documentation.
